Pawn Redemption/Purchase Requirements

- Any firearm in pawn when January 1st, 2024 comes, will fall under the 10-business day hold upon redemption.
- Starting January 1st, 2024, ALL firearm background checks will have a 10-buisness day waiting period, no exceptions. This includes pawn redemptions. No firearm will go home same-day.
- All transfer fees are $45 each +tax per firearm.
- Name on transfer invoices must match person on 4473.
- We will be collecting an additional $18 STATE fee for all purchases and transfers, per WA State Law, per transaction. This is a separate fee from our $45 transfer fee. This can be paid in cash or card. No checks are accepted.
- Any firearm that passes the 30 day NICS period due to no call, no show or expired ID will be charged an additional $45 +tax transfer fee to re-run the background check.

Pawn Redemptions
As Of 1/1/2024
ALL firearm redemptions require a background check to be conducted before returning the firearm.
ALL firearms will have a 10 BUSINESS day waiting period. No exceptions.
ALL firearm background checks require proof of a safety training course. Please bring in a copy for our records.
Re-running paperwork after a DENIAL or 30 days have lapsed, will result in another $45 transfer fee per firearm check.
Semiauto Assault Rifle Purchases / Pawns
With HB 1240, we are no longer able to sell or accept online transfers of semi-auto rifles (this includes rimfires per our stores policy) or shotguns, as well as pistols with a threaded barrel.
The law still allows us to loan on these types of firearms but we have chosen to NOT loan against them at this time. We are only doing loans on standard pistols and revolvers (with no threaded barrel), pump shotguns, lever/single/bolt rifles.

Concealed Pistol License
CPL holders have NO BENEFIT for a purchaser or transferee other than the option to use as a second form of ID on the 4473.
All hand gun purchases and pawn redemption background checks are now performed through Washington State Patrol as of January 1st, 2024.
Magazine Capacity
Magazine policy - July 1st, 2022:
All firearm mags must be 10 rounds and below. We can not loan on large capacity mags so loans will be on firearms only unless a 10 round mag is included. This will impact loan amounts.
